On The Ball, Inc. is a high school sports magazine that was founded in May 2005. Our vision is to provide a free, full-color monthly publication that focuses on the accomplishments of high school athletes on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. The content is 100% positive. Our belief is that local media does a great job of telling the public about who wins the games and what stats come from those games. We want to tell you who those student-athletes are by going behind the scenes. There are student-athletes who accept the challenge from their coaches and teachers to be their best and we believe by distinguishing their successes they can inspire others.

By covering all sanctioned sports, we have made a commitment to include not only the best athletes that typically receive all the recognition but also the athletes that often get overlooked for their contributions. As a result, On The Ball will help college recruiters find student-athletes that may not have had the opportunity for a college scholarship.

Our publishers are George and Matt Abernathy, from Jackson, Tennessee. We have been in business since 1999. We believe God has prepared us with other ventures to take this product nationwide with the purpose of touching lives and glorify Him in everything we do.
